AHSOKA Gets The Seal Of Female Empowerment In Amusement From Critics Choice Association

As we first documented on SFFGazette.com, the Critics Preference Association Women’s Committee has selected Ahsoka to receive the Seal of Female Empowerment in Enjoyment.

Dubbed the “SOFEE,” this seal “recognises fantastic new films and tv sequence that illuminate the feminine working experience and perspective by way of authentically informed feminine-pushed tales.”

The Disney+ series puts the highlight on Ahsoka Tano, continuing her tale from The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. Sabine Wren has also been a large aspect of the sequence, as has Hera Syndulla. Ahsoka also options two woman villains, Morgan Elsbeth and Shin Hati.

The Critics Option Association is the greatest critics group in the United States and Canada, representing a lot more than 580 media critics and enjoyment journalists. Established soon after the drop of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the previous Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging danger to a susceptible galaxy. 

In addition to Rosario Dawson in the title part, the series stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger. 

Ahsoka was published by Dave Filoni, who executive creates along with Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Directors incorporate Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Rick Famuyiwa.
